(b) 1947 Boundaries in Prince George's County.—The boundaries
of the Regional District in Prince George's County are as follows:
Beginning at a point which is about 3.5 miles southwesterly from
the common corner of Montgomery, Howard, and Prince George's
counties, being the present dividing line between Election District
No. 1 (Vansville) and Election District No. 10 (Laurel) in Prince
George's County; thence generally easterly and southeasterly 5.0
miles along the aforesaid line to its intersection with the present
western boundary line of Election District No. 14 (Bowie); thence
generally southerly about 5.8 miles along the aforesaid line to its
intersection with the present northern boundary line of Election
District No. 20 (Lanham); then easterly about 1.3 miles along the
aforesaid line to its intersection with the present eastern boundary
line of Election District No. 20 (Lanham); thence southerly about
1.2 miles along the aforesaid line to its intersection with the pres-
ent northern boundary line of Election District No. 13 (Kent);
thence generally easterly about 2.1 miles along the aforesaid line to
its intersection with the present eastern boundary line of Election
District No. 13 (Kent); thence generally southerly about 6.4 miles
along the aforesaid line to its intersection with the present southern
boundary line of Election District No. 13 (Kent); thence generally
westerly about 3.4 miles along the aforesaid line to its intersection
with the present easterly boundary line of Election District No. 6
(Spaulding's); thence southerly about 300 feet along the aforesaid
line to its intersection with a line 300 feet southeast of and parallel
to the center line of the Ritchie-Forestville Road; thence generally
southwesterly and southerly about 2.1 miles along the aforesaid
line to its intersection at Forestville with a line 300 feet east of
and parallel to the center line of the road leading southerly across
the Washington and Marlboro Road into the Stewart Road; thence
southerly about 0.1 mile along the aforesaid line to its intersection
with a line 300 feet northeast of and parallel to the center line of
the Washington and, Marlboro Road; thence southeasterly and
southerly about 2.3 miles along the aforesaid line to its intersection
with the prolongation of a line 300 feet south of and parallel to the
center line of the Meadows-Camp Springs-Allentown-Friendly
Road; thence westerly and southwesterly about 4.6 miles along the
aforesaid line to its intersection, at Padgett's Corner, Allentown,
with a line 300 feet west of and parallel to the center line of Temple
Hills Road; thence northerly about 0.6 mile along the aforesaid line
to its intersection with a line 300 feet south of and parallel to the
center line of Ernshaw Road, also known as Brinkley Road, thence
westerly about 2.5 miles along the aforesaid line to its intersection
at Phelp's Corner with a line 300 feet south of and parallel to the
Oxon Hill Road; thence generally westerly and southwesterly about
1.5 miles along the aforesaid line to its intersection with the pro-
longation of the southwestern line of the Fort Foote Road; thence
generally northwesterly and northerly about 0.1 mile along the
aforesaid line and the western line of the Fort Foote Road to its
intersection with the southern boundary line of the United States
