Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 134A be and it is hereby added to Article 56
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Licenses",
sub-title "Gypsies", said new section to follow immediately after
Section 134 thereof, and to read as follows:

134A. Notwithstanding any other sections of this Article, in Cecil
County any gypsy, palm reader, fortune teller or soothsayer, etc.
shall apply to the Board of County Commissioners of Cecil County
for a license to carry on his business. Said license shall be issued
by the County Commissioners only upon proof that said person has
been a resident, taxpayer, and property owner of Cecil County for
at least 3 years
EIGHTEEN (18) MONTHS prior to the application
for said license. The annual fee for said license shall be $250.00 and
the license shall be issued by the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cecil
County and may be revoked by the Board for good cause.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(House Bill 453)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 464B (a)
and (b) of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County
(1953 Edition, being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), as amended by Chapter 796 of the Acts of 1957, title
"Prince George's County", sub-title "County Commissioners", au-
thorizing the Board of County Commissioners for Prince George's
County, Maryland, to provide for the construction of streets, road-
ways, alleys, sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, grading, and storm
drainage incident to such construction; and to provide for the levy-
ing of taxes and the borrowing of funds to finance said improve-
ments and relating generally to construction in Prince George's
County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 464B (a) and (b) of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1953 Edition, being Article 17 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland), as amended by Chapter 796 of
the Acts of 1957, title "Prince George's County", sub-title "County
Commissioners", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

464B. (a) The County Commissioners of Prince George's County
are hereby authorized to construct roadways, alleys, curbs, sidewalks,
gutters and storm drainage incident to any of said construction in
