Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 763
(House Bill 775)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 108 (3)
of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial Magistrates System",
relating generally to the compensation of the trial magistrates of
Baltimore County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 108 (3) of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial
Magistrates System", be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

108.

(3) There shall be sixteen trial magistrates, one of whom shall
sit in Catonsville, one in Cockeysville, one in Dundalk, one in Edge-
mere, one in Essex, one in Fullerton, one in Halethorpe, one in
Kingsville, one in Parkton, one in Parkville, one in Pikesville, one
in Reisterstown, one in Sparrows Point, one in Towson, one in Wood-
lawn, and one at a suitable location on the Pulaski Highway.

The Baltimore County trial magistrates herein provided for shall
hold sessions of no less than three days in each week and such other
sessions as the duties of their office and public convenience may
require.

The said trial magistrates shall receive annual salaries as follows:
OF NOT LESS THAN THE FOLLOWING AMOUNTS:

Catonsville ...............................................................    $2,100.00

Cockeysville.............................................................     1,800.00

Dundalk ....................................................................     3,600.00

Edgemere .................................................................     2,100.00

Essex ........................................................................     4,000.00

Fullerton ..................................................................     2,400.00

Halethorpe ...............................................................     2,400.00

Kingsville .................................................................     1,500.00

Parkton.....................................................................     1,500.00

Parkville ...................................................................     2,800.00

Pikesville ..................................................................     2,100.00

Rosedale...................................................................     1,800.00

Reisterstown ............................................................     2,700.00

Sparrows Point......................................................     1,800.00

Towson .....................................................................     4,000.00

Woodlawn .................................................................     2,100.00
