(House Bill 899)
AN ACT to add a new Section 130 (c-1) to Article 2B of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Bever-
ages", sub-title "Restrictions Upon Licensees", to follow im-
mediately after Section 130 (c) thereof, providing that in Allegany
County no manufacturer or wholesaler shall sell any beer to any
retail dealer except for cash on delivery and relating to the enforce-
ment of any claim for credit extended in violation of this section.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 130 (c-1) be and it is hereby added to Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Al-
coholic Beverages", sub-title "Restrictions Upon Licensees", to fol-
low immediately after Section 130(c) thereof, and to read as follows:

(c-1) Sale of Beer for Cash. In Allegany County no manufacturer
or wholesaler shall sell any beer to any retail dealer except for cash
on delivery. No suit or action ex contractu to enforce or collect any
claim for credit extended in violation of this section shall be main-
tained in this State.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

Local Laws of Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition), being Article
2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Anne

ly after Section 332P thereof as enacted by Chapter 338 of the
Acts of 1957, and to be under the new sub-heading "Seventh and
Eighth Districts", imposing a fire tax within the Seventh and
Eighth Election Districts of Anne Arundel County and relating
