CHAPTER 104
(Senate Bill 80)

AN ACT to repeal Section 155 of Article 15 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Kent County", sub-
title "County Treasurer", said section having been last amended by
Chapter 400 of the Acts of 1951, relating to the compensation of
the Treasurer of Kent County and being obsolete under the pro-
visions of Section 51 (t) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code.

Whereas, In Section 155 of the local laws for Kent County, as
last amended by Chapter 400 of the Acts of 1951, there are provisions
concerning the compensation of the Treasurer of Kent County; and

Whereas, This subject now is covered by Section 51 (t) of Article
25 in the 1957 Edition of the Annotated Code; now, therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 155 of Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Kent County", sub-title "County
Treasurer", said section having been last amended by Chapter 400 of
the Acts of 1951, be and it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 105
(Senate Bill 81)

AN ACT to repeal Section 156A of Article 15 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Kent County",
sub-title "County Treasurer", said section having been enacted
by Chapter 131 of the Acts of 1935 and amended by Chapter 103
of the Acts of the Special Session of 1936, requiring the County
Treasurer of Kent County to collect motor vehicle taxes for
certain municipal corporations in Kent County, and now being
obsolete.

Whereas, In Section 156A of the Local Laws of Kent County as
enacted by Chapter 131 of 1935 and amended by Chapter 103 of the
Acts of the Special Session of 1936 there is a provision that the
County Treasurer of Kent County shall collect taxes on motor
vehicles which have been levied by certain municipal corporations
therein; and

Whereas, This section is now obsolete, having been superseded
by Section 81 of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code (1957 Edition),
