Whereas, In Section 399 of the Local Laws of Wicomico County
there are provisions concerning the collection and distribution of
fines collected under Section 398 relating to trespassing; and

Whereas, Section 399 is obsolete and unnecessary by reason of
State-wide laws contained in Article 52 of the State Code and ade-
quately covering the collection and distribution of fines imposed by
justices of the peace; now, therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 399 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County", sub-title "Tres-
pass", be and it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 99
(Senate Bill 73)

AN ACT to repeal Section 402 of Article 23 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County",
sub-title "Wetipquin Harbor", and to repeal said sub-title, re-
pealing a local law of Wicomico County concerning the name of the
former Wetipquin Creek.

Whereas, In Section 402 of the Local Laws of Wicomico County
there is a law enacted in the year 1888 which provided that the name
of Wetipquin Creek be changed to Wetipquin Harbor; and

Whereas, In the judgment of County officials this law is entirely
unnecessary and obsolete and should be repealed; now, therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 402 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County", sub-title "Wetip-
quin Harbor", be and it is hereby repealed, and that said sub-title be
and it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.
