as from the former owner to the grantee.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(Senate Bill 69)

AN ACT to repeal Section 343 of Article 23 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County",
sub-title "Salisbury Home for the Aged", and to repeal said sub-
title, repealing an obsolete local law applicable in Wicomico
County and relating to an appropriation by the County Commis-
sioners to the Salisbury Home for the Aged.

Whereas, In Section 343 of the Local Laws of Wicomico County
there is a law originally enacted in the year 1904 and relating to an
appropriation by the Board of County Commissioners to the Salis-
bury Home for the Aged; and

Whereas, In the judgment of County officials this law is both
unnecessary and obsolete and should be repealed; now, therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland_f
That Section 343 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County", sub-title "Salis-
bury Home for the Aged", be and it is hereby repealed, and that said
sub-title be and it is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

(Senate Bill 70)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 344 and 345 of Article 23 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicom-
ico County", sub-title "Schools", and to repeal said sub-title in its
entirety, repealing an obsolete local law for Wicomico County
which was enacted in 1918 and concerns an audit of the books of
the School Board to be made at that time.
