the unused licenses to the Department for a refund and after the
same have been checked and found to be correct, then the Department
may reimburse said agent for the amount of licenses returned but
at no time shall a reimbursement be made for unused fishing licenses
later than December 31 of each and every year. All fishing licenses
not returned by this time shall be deemed as sold and no refunds can
or shall be made for that particular year.

Any agent convicted for any violation of the provisions of this
section before a court of competent jurisdiction of this State shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine
of not less than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Two
Hundred Dollars ($200.00), or by imprisonment in jail for not less
than ten (10) days nor more than thirty (30) days, or both fine and
imprisonment, and in addition thereto shall be relieved of his license
issuing appointment.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, 'that this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1959.

CHAPTER 675
(House Bill 655)

AN ACT to add new Sections 332Q to 332T to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition), being Article
2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Anne
Arundel County", sub-title "Fire Companies", to follow immediately
after Section 332P thereof, as enacted by Chapter 338 of the Acts
of 1957, and to be under the new sub-heading "First and Second
Districts", imposing a fire tax in the first and second election
districts of Anne Arundel County and relating generally to the
imposition, collection, distribution and expenditure of such tax,
AND MAKING THIS ACT SUBJECT TO SEPARATE REFER-
ENDA IN THE FIRST AND SECOND DISTRICTS. , making
this Act subject to a referendum
.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Sections 332Q to 332T be and they are hereby added to
the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel County (1947 Edi-
tion), being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title "Fire Companies", said new
sections to follow immediately after Section 332P thereof, as enacted
by Chapter 338 of the Acts of 1957, and to be under the new sub-
heading "First and Second Districts", and to read as follows:

First and Second Districts

332Q. (a) The provisions of this sub-heading shall apply to and
be effective in the First and Second Election Districts of Anne Arun-
del County.

CAPITALS indicate amendments to bill.
