(Senate Bill 58)

AN ACT to add a new Section 8B to Article 23A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1959 Supplement), title "Cor-
porations—Municipal" to follow immediately after Section 8A
thereof, and to be under the new sub-title "Municipal Codes"; and
to add a new Section 32A to Article 25 of said Code (1957 Edition),
title "County Commissioners", to follow immediately after Section
32 thereof, and to be under the new; sub-title "County Codes", re-
quiring the Board of County Commissioners or County Council of
any county, and the Mayor and City Council, by whatever name
known, of every municipal corporation to make certain deposits
of codes or compilations of their public local laws,

AND MUNICIPAL CHARTER.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 8B be and it is hereby added to Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1959 Supplement),
title "Corporations—Municipal", to follow immediately after Section
8A thereof, and to be under the new sub-title "Municipal Codes", to
read as follows:

ARTICLE 23A

Municipal Codes
8B. Depositories.

Whenever the mayor and city council, by whatever name known,
of any municipal corporation in this State publishes or issues in
printed, mimeographed or similar duplicated form a code or compila-
tion containing all or a portion of the municipal charter,

the mayor and council shall deposit copies free of
charge with the following State agencies: Hall of Records Commis-
sion, one copy; State Library, one copy; Department of Legislative
Reference, four copies.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That new Section 32A be and it
is hereby added to Article 25 of said Code (1957 Edition), title
"County Commissioners", to follow immediately after Section 32
thereof, and to be under the new sub-title "County Codes", to read
as follows:

County Codes
32 A. Depositories.

Whenever the board of county commissioners or county council of
any county in this State publishes or issues in printed, mimeographed
or similar duplicated form a code or compilation containing all or a
portion of the public local laws,
