corporation. Any agreement entered into between the said Com-
mission OR THE SAID BOARD and any municipal corporation as
provided in this section shall be irrevocable and shall remain in effect
as written until and unless revoked or amended, as the case may be, by
mutual action of said Commission OR SAID BOARD and such munic-
ipal corporation.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957. THAT THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 108, MONT-
GOMERY COUNTY CODE (1955), THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE UPPER MONTGOMERY COUNTY PLANNING DIS-
TRICT, AND THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS OF THE
UPPER MONTGOMERY COUNTY PLANNING DISTRICT
SHALL REMAIN IN EFFECT AND SHALL BE APPLICABLE
TO THE AREA HEREBY ADDED TO SAID MARYLAND-
WASHINGTON REGIONAL DISTRICT IN SO FAR AS THEY ARE
NOW APPLICABLE TO AND IN EFFECT IN SAID AREA,
UNTIL ONE YEAR FROM THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
ACT OR UNTIL BOTH SUBDIVISION AND ZONING REGULA-
TIONS PROMULGATED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE
MARYLAND-WASHINGTON REGIONAL DISTRICT ACT SHALL
BECOME EFFECTIVE IN SAID AREA, WHICHEVER SHALL
FIRST OCCUR.

SEC. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT THIS ACT
SHALL TAKE EFFECT JUNE 1, 1957.

AN ACT to add new Section 114A to Article 77 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Public Education," sub-
title "Teachers' Retirement System" to follow immediately after
Section 114 thereof, AND TO ADD NEW SECTION 235 (H) TO
ARTICLE 81 OF SAID CODE, TITLE "REVENUE AND
TAXES", SUB-TITLE "GENERAL PROVISIONS", SUB-HEAD-
ING "STATE TAX COMMISSION" TO FOLLOW IMMEDIATE-
LY AFTER SECTION 235 (G) THEREOF, relating to supple-
mental payments to certain retired teachers in Charles County.
AND TO PAYMENTS TO CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE
SUPERVISOR OF ASSESSMENTS OF SAID COUNTY.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That new Section 114A be and the same is hereby added to Article
77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Public
Education," sub-title "Teachers' Retirement System" to follow im-
mediately after Section 114 thereof AND THAT SECTION 235 (H)
