(j) In St. Mary's County, there shall be a special Class D (On
Sale) beer license which shall be issued to any bona fide religious,
fraternal, civic, veterans', hospital or charitable organization, for
a period not exceeding ten consecutive days from the effective date
thereof, upon the payment of a fee of Five Dollars ($5.00) for each
such license.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 546
(House Bill 237)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 217L of
Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "St. Mary's County", sub-title "Trailers", said sec-
tion having been enacted by Chapter 580 of the Acts of 1949 and
repealed by Chapter 747 of the Acts of 1953 with a new Section
217L being enacted in lieu thereof, providing for the illegal parking
of trailers in St. Mary's County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 217L of Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St. Mary's County", sub-title
"Trailers", said section having been enacted by Chapter 580 of the
Acts of 1949 and repealed by Chapter 747 of the Acts of 1953 with
a new Section 217L being enacted in lieu thereof, be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
217L. (Prohibited Parking.) It shall be unlawful for any person
to maintain [or], use or park any trailer coach which is occupied
for dwelling or sleeping purposes, or is unoccupied any place within
St. Mary's County for a period of not more than ten THIRTY days
in any month CALENDAR YEAR except in a duly licensed trailer
park or upon obtaining written permission from the Department of
Health.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.
