ANTLERLESS DEER

Washington County, December 15 to
December 24, inclusive, provided, that
in counties having a bow and arrow
season, deer of either sex can be killed
between October 15 and November 15,
by means of a bow and arrow. Antler-

less deer may be hunted, pursued or

killed for a period of not more than

one day during the week immediately

following the open season on male
deer in such counties or portions of
counties as established by regulation
of the Game and Inland Fish Commis-

sion. ANTLERLESS DEER MAY
BE HUNTED, PURSUED OR
KILLED FOR A PERIOD OF NOT
MORE THAN ONE DAY DURING
THE WEEK IMMEDIATELY FOL-
LOWING THE OPEN SEASON ON
MALE DEER IN SUCH COUNTIES
OR PORTIONS OF COUNTIES AS
ESTABLISHED BY REGULATION
OF THE GAME AND INLAND
FISH COMMISSION EXCEPT
THAT NO SUCH PERIOD FOR
HUNTING ANTLERLESS DEER
SHALL BE AUTHORIZED IN
FREDERICK, ALLEGANY, WASH-
INGTON AND GARRETT COUN-
TIES.

MAY BE HUNTED, PURSUED OR
KILLED FOR A PERIOD OF NOT
MORE THAN ONE DAY DURING
THE WEEK IMMEDIATELY FOL-
LOWING THE OPEN SEASON ON
MALE DEER IN SUCH COUNTIES
OR PORTIONS OF COUNTIES AS
ESTABLISHED BY REGULATION
OF THE GAME AND INLAND
FISH COMMISSION.

(M) APPLICATION FOR A SEASON ON ANTLERLESS DEER
IN ANY PARTICULAR COUNTY SHALL BE INITIATED BE-
FORE THE GAME AND INLAND FISH COMMISSION BY THE
RESIDENTS OF SUCH COUNTY THROUGH THE FARM OR-
GANIZATION OF SUCH COUNTY OR THROUGH A REPRE-
SENTATIVE NUMBER OF SPORTSMEN'S ORGANIZATIONS
LOCATED IN SUCH COUNTY. IN THE EVENT AN ANTLER-

OLESS DEER SEASON IS ESTABLISHED BY THE GAME AND

INLAND FISH COMMISSION IN A COUNTY OR A PORTION
OF A COUNTY, THE COMMISSION SHALL DETERMINE BY
AN IMPARTIAL METHOD A FIXED NUMBER WHO MAY
HUNT, PURSUE OR KILL ANTLERLESS DEER GIVING
PRIORITY IN SELECTION TO THE RESIDENTS OF SUCH
COUNTY WITHIN THE AREA OF SUCH COUNTY WHEREIN
THE OPEN SEASON HAS BEEN DECLARED.
