said plat, together with the sum of Two Dollars and Fifty Cents
($2.50) of the recording fee, and shall send one copy of said plat
to the Supervisor of Assessments for Anne Arundel County. No
plat shall hereafter be received for recording except upon compliance
with the provisions of this Section. Unrecorded plats of three or
more deeds of record or Contracts of Sale for lots as described herein
shall be prima facie evidence that the tract or parcel is a sub-
division and subject to requirements of this sub heading.
217. NO PLAT SHALL BE RECEIVED BY THE CLERK OF
THE CIRCUIT COURT FOR ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY FOR
RECORDING AMONG THE PLAT RECORDS OF ANNE ARUN-
DEL COUNTY, HEREINAFTER PROVIDED IN SECTION 218
OF THE SUB-HEADING, UNLESS THE SAME IS DRAWN IN
INK, PRINTED OR LITHOGRAPHED, UPON ACCEPTABLE
LINEN TRACING CLOTH, AND ACCOMPANIED BY THREE
EXACT COPIES THEREOF WHICH MUST BE BLUE PRINTS
OR BLUE OR BLACK LINE PRINTS ON LINEN. SUCH PLAT
AND COPIES THEREOF SHALL BE EIGHTEEN INCHES BY
TWENTY-FOUR INCHES IN SIZE. THE FEE FOR RECORDING
AND INDEXING SAID PLAT AND COPIES THEREOF SHALL
BE TWENTY DOLLARS ($20.00), WHICH SHALL BE PAID TO
THE CLERK BY THE PERSON PRESENTING THE SAME.
218. It shall be the duty of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Anne Arundel County to record all plats left with him to be re-
corded under the provisions of Section 217 by inserting a print or
copy of the same in a suitable binder of good quality for which an
appropriate index or indexes shall be provided. That copy of the
said plat furnished on linen tracing cloth shall be filed in the said
Clerk's office in a lockable cabinet and an appropriate index system
provided therefor.
218. IT SHALL BE THE DUTY OF THE CLERK OF THE
CIRCUIT COURT FOR ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY TO RECORD
ALL PLATS ACCEPTED BY HIM FOR RECORDING AMONG
THE PLAT RECORDS OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY BY FIL-
ING A PRINT OR COPY OF THE SAME IN A SUITABLE
BINDER OF GOOD QUALITY TO BE PROVIDED BY THE
CLERK AND FOR WHICH AN APPROPRIATE INDEX SYS-
TEM SHALL ALSO BE PROVIDED BY THE CLERK, AND
WHEN SO FILED AND INDEXED THEY SHALL BE AND CON-
STITUTE THE "PLAT RECORDS OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUN-
TY". AS PROVIDED BY ARTICLE 17, SECTION 73, OF THE
ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1951 EDITION), THE
CLERK SHALL SEND ONE COPY OF SAID PLAT, IF A PLAT
OF A SUB-DIVISION, TO THE COMMISSIONER OF LAND
OFFICE, TOGETHER WITH THE SUM OF TWO DOLLARS AND
FIFTY CENTS ($2.50) OF THE RECORDING FEE, AND SHALL
SEND ONE COPY OF SAID PLAT TO THE SUPERVISOR OF
ASSESSMENTS FOR ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY. THAT COPY
OF THE PLAT FURNISHED ON LINEN TRACING CLOTH
SHALL BE FILED AND PRESERVED IN THE CLERK'S OF-
FICE IN A LOCKABLE CABINET TO BE PROVIDED BY THE
CLERK AND AN APPROPRIATE INDEX SYSTEM SHALL
