Bailiffs in Anne Arundel and Queen Anne's counties shall each
receive seven dollars ($7.00) per day.

Bailiffs in Calvert County shall receive one hundred and twenty-
five dollars ($125.00) per year.

Bailiffs in Cecil County shall each receive such compensation as
the county commissioners shall determine, but in no event shall they
be paid less than five dollars ($5.00) per day.

Bailiffs in Garrett and Somerset counties shall each receive such
compensation as the county commissioners of said counties shall
determine, but not exceeding five dollars ($5.00) per day.

Bailiffs in Baltimore County shall each receive such compensation
as the court of said county shall determine.

Bailiffs and criers in Harford County shall each receive such
compensation as the court shall determine but not exceeding a total
of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) per year for all bailiffs
and criers in said County.

Bailiffs in Carroll, Montgomery, Talbot and Wicomico counties
shall each receive such compensation as the county commissioners of
said counties shall determine.

Bailiffs in Frederick County shall each receive fifty dollars
($50.00) per month.

Bailiffs in Dorchester County shall each receive seven dollars and
fifty cents ($7.50) per day.

Bailiffs in St. Mary's County shall each receive Ten Dollars
($10.00) per day.

(6) Criers in St. Mary's County shall each receive [Six Dollars
($6.00)] Ten Dollars ($10.00) per day.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

(Senate Bill 576)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 22 (a) of
Article 51 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Supplement),
title "Juries", sub-title "Qualifications and Selection of Jurors",
and to add new Section 22(e) to said Article and sub-title (1956
Supplement), to follow immediately after Section 22(d) thereof;
providing for the compensation of jurors in St. Mary's County.
