easterly, northeasterly and southerly direction with and along the
existing boundary of the Washington Suburban Sanitary District
to the point of beginning.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the jurisdiction of the
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission is hereby extended to
include the area above described and said area shall be subject to all
the rules and regulations of the Commission and all provisions of law
relating to said District, including taxes and other sums or charges
levied by said Commission in other parts of said District.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 364
(House Bill 724)

AN ACT to add Section 270A to the Code of Public Local Laws of
Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition, being Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Anne Arundel County,"
sub-title "County Commissioners," to follow immediately after
Section 270 thereof and to be under the new sub-heading "Prop-
erty," authorizing and empowering the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel County to receive gifts, grants and con-
veyances of real and personal property, to hold and administer the
same for public purposes and the welfare of the County and to
convey or otherwise dispose of such property when no longer needed
or economical for public purposes.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 270A be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition, being
Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Anne
Arundel County," sub-title "County Commissioners," to follow im-
mediately after Section 270 thereof, to be under the new sub-heading
"Property," and to read as follows:

Property

270A. The Board of County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County is authorized and empowered to receive gifts, grants and con-
veyances of real and personal property, to hold and administer the
same for public purposes and the welfare of the County and to convey
or otherwise dispose of such property when it is no longer needed or
economical for public purposes.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.
