payments, received during the fiscal year but applicable to returns
due to be filed in the succeeding year, all such collections to be
credited to the general funds of the State and the political sub-
divisions' share of such taxes to be paid from income tax collections
of the next fiscal year.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby de-
clared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health and safety and having been passed
by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of all the members
elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 333
(House Bill 177)

AN ACT to repeal Section 572A of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition), being Article 2 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Anne Arundel County",
sub-title "Trailers", as said section was enacted by Chapter 534
of the Acts of 1955 and to enact a new Section 572A in lieu thereof
to stand in the place of the section so repealed, enacting without
change the provisions of said Section 572A in order to cure a possi-
ble defect in the title of said Chapter 534 of the 1955 validating and
confirming all actions properly taken under said Section 572A as
enacted by Chapter 534 of the Acts of 1955.

Whereas, Chapter 534 of the Acts of 1955 amended Section 572
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel County and also
added a new Section 572A to this Code; and

Whereas, There is no mention in the title or in the enacting clause
of an addition of Chapter 572A; and

Whereas, Because of this possible constitutional defect in the title
and the enacting clause of the Acts of 1955, it is desirable to re-
enact the provisions of this section without change and to validate
and confirm any action taken under it since 1955; now, therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 572A of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel
County (1947 Edition), being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title "Trailers",
as said section was enacted by Chapter 534 of the Acts of 1955, be
and it is hereby repealed, and that a new Section 572A be and it is
hereby enacted in lieu thereof to stand in the place of the section
so repealed and to read as follows:
