Edition), title "Frederick County", sub-title "County Commis-
sioners", said section having been enacted by Chapter 401 of the
Acts of 1933, providing that the compensation of the attorney to
the County Commission of Frederick County shall be as fixed by
said Commission.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 97 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County", sub-title "County
Commissioners", said section having been enacted by Chapter 401
of the Acts of 1933, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

97. The Commissioners of Frederick County are hereby au-
thorized and empowered to appoint an attorney to said board, who
shall receive as compensation for the professional services rendered
by him as said attorney, [the] a sum [of five hundred dollars
($500.00) per annum,] to be as determined by the Commissioners
of Frederick County, such sum
to be paid in equal monthly install-
ments, in lieu of all fees and other compensation for services rendered
said board . [provided, however, that the said Commissioners may
allow said attorney additional compensation not exceeding twenty-
five dollars ($25.00) per day for such time as it may be necessary
for him to represent said board before the Circuit Court for Fred-
erick County or before the Court of Appeals of Maryland.]

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 226
(Senate Bill 421)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sub-sections (b)
and (d) of Section 250 of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1951 Edition and 1956 Supplement), title "Testamen-
tary Law", sub-title "Orphans' Court", relating to the compensa-
tion and the allowance for travelling expenses of the Judges of
the Orphans' Court of Frederick County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That sub-sections (b) and (d) of Section 250 of Article 93 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1956 Supplement),
title "Testamentary Law", sub-title "Orphans' Court", be and the
same are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

250.

(b) Each of the Judges of the Orphans' Court for Frederick
County shall receive the sum of Six Dollars ($6.00) for every day's
