"Circuit Court", be and they are hereby repealed, and that new Sec-
tion 220A be and it is hereby added to said Code, sub-title ''Jurors",
to follow immediately after Section 220 thereof, and to read as fol-
lows :
220A. There shall be two (2) jury terms of the Circuit Court for
Kent County commencing at Chestertown on the third Monday of
April and the third Monday of October in each year.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 162B1
of Article 89B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1956 Supple-
ment) , title "State Roads", sub-title "State Highway Construction
Bonds, Second Issue", providing for reports to be made to the
Governor and the General Assembly in the years 1958, 1959 and
1963 as to the progress of the so-called 12 Year Road! Program
and relating generally to the effect of such reports and to the
action which may be taken thereafter.
Whereas, During the month of January, 1957, members of the
State Roads Commission and their staff appeared in a series of meet-
ings before the General Assembly to report at some length on the
progress of the 12 Year Road Program, which was begun by the
State of Maryland following legislation taken at the 1953 Session;
and
Whereas, This report was made as required by law at the end of
the first four-year period of progress under the 12 Year Program;
and
Whereas, Although another such report is due at the end of the
second four-year period, it was agreed by members of the Commis-
sion and members of the General Assembly that it would be wise to
have such reports made to the Governor and the General Assembly
at more frequent intervals; now, therefore,
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 162B1 of Article 89B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1956 Supplement), title "State Roads", sub-title "State High-
way Construction Bonds, Second Issue", be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
