Whereas, Another Supplement to that Code, to be known as the
1957 Supplement to the Annotated Code of the Public General Laws
of Maryland (1951 Edition), is to be prepared and published by the
Editorial Staff of The Michie Company, Charlottesville, Virginia; and

Whereas, This Supplement will contain the Public General Laws
enacted at the 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956 and 1957 Regular Sessions of
the General Assembly, and at the Special Session of March 8, 1956,
together with those Public General Laws of the 1952 Session which
were set out in Appendix A at the end of Volume 3 of the 1951 Edition
of the Annotated Code; now, therefore

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the 1957 Supplement to the Annotated Code of the Public
General Laws of Maryland (1951 Edition), prepared and published
by the Editorial Staff of The Michie Company, Charlottesville,- Vir-
ginia, be and the same is hereby legalized and made evidence of the
Public General Laws enacted at the 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956 and 1957
Regular Sessions of the General Assembly of Maryland, and at the
Special Session of March 8, 1956, and of those Public General Laws
of the 1952 Session which were set out in Appendix A at the end of
Volume 3 of the 1951 Edition of the Annotated Code of Maryland. It
shall be deemed and taken as such in all the Courts of the State and
by all Justices of the Peace and Trial Magistrates of the State and by
all other public officials of the State.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 25
(House Bill 64)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sub-section (d)
of Section 28 of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1956 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Administra-
tion—Registration—Titling", providing for the exemption from
the motor vehicle title tax of certificates of title for ambulances
and rescue and other vehicles owned and used for the benefit of the
public by non-profit rescue squads.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That sub-section (d) of Section 28 of Article 66½ of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1956 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles",
sub-title "Administration—Registration—Titling", be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
