To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, Blanchard Randall, Secretary of State of the State of
Maryland, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 210 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition) DO
HEREBY certify, That at the Primary Election held in the State of
Maryland on May 7, 1956, an Act known as Chapter 70 of the Acts
of 1955, was submitted to the voters of the Fourth Election District
of Anne Arundel County, for their adoption or rejection under the
provisions of Chapter 70 of the Acts of 1955, said Act being as
follows:
"An Act to add four new sections to the Anne Arundel County
Code (1947 Edition) being Article 2 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, said new sections to be known as
Sections 332-I—332L, inclusive, and to follow immediately
after Section 332H of said Article as amended by Chapter 362
of 1951 relating to the levy of a special fire tax in the Fourth
Election District of Anne Arundel County."
and I DO certify, that at such election 418 votes were cast in
favor of the adoption of Chapter 70 of the Acts of 1955, and 80 votes
were cast against the adoption of said Chapter 70, and a majority of
the votes being cast in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 70 of
the Acts of 1955, the said Act has been ratified by the voters of the
Fourth Election District of Anne Arundel County.
