(c)   The Sheriff shall charge a license fee of One Dollar ($1.00)
for issuance of each bingo license and a license fee of Five Dollars
($5.00) for each raffle and carnival license. In the case of fire com-
panies, not more than one permit for carnivals, at which bingo and
raffles will be conducted, shall be issued annually, the same to be
valid for not longer than eighteen days, except that the eighteen
days shall be computed as eighteen actual days on which weather
conditions are suitable for the conduct of the carnival; and not more
than two permits for games of raffles shall be issued annually. In
the case of other organizations, not more than two permits for games
of bingo shall be issued in any month and not more than two permits
for raffles shall be issued annually. No permit issued under this
section shall authorize the conduct of any games or carnival on
Sunday.
A LICENSE SHALL BE REQUIRED FOR EACH DAY A
BINGO GAME IS OPERATED, UNLESS SUCH BINGO GAME IS
HELD IN A DULY LICENSED CARNIVAL.

(d)  No minor under the age of 16 years shall be allowed to PLAY,
participate in, conduct or operate any game of bingo or raffles for
which a permit is issued under this section, nor shall any such minor
play any game of bingo as authorized herein unless accompanied by a
parent or guardian.

(e)  Nothing herein shall be construed to authorize slot machines
or any type of coin machines to be used for gambling purposes.

(f)   The several constables, bailiffs, municipal police officers and
all other prosecuting and peace officers of Wicomico County shall be
strictly charged with the enforcement of this section.

(g)  Any organization refusing to file the report set forth in Sub-
section (b) (3)
(4) herein OR FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION shall forfeit its right to the
issuance of any license for the period of one year.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957, AND THEREAFTER SHALL BE SUBJECT TO
THE PROVISIONS CONTAINED IN SECTION 3 OF THIS ACT.

SEC. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT IN CON-
JUNCTION WITH THE REGULAR CONGRESSIONAL ELEC-
TION TO BE HELD IN WICOMICO COUNTY IN THE MONTH
OF NOVEMBER, 1958, THERE SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE
QUALIFIED VOTERS OF WICOMICO COUNTY THE QUESTION
WHETHER THIS ACT SHALL OR SHALL NOT CONTINUE TO
BE EFFECTIVE AND APPLICABLE. THE BOARD OF SUPER-
VISORS OF ELECTIONS OF WICOMICO COUNTY SHALL DO
SUCH THINGS AS ARE NECESSARY AND PROPER TO SUB-
MIT THE QUESTION TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF WI-
COMICO COUNTY AT THAT TIME. THERE SHALL BE
PRINTED ON THE BALLOTS OR ON THE VOTING MACHINE
LABELS, AS THE CASE MAY BE, THE WORDS "FOR CON-
TINUATION OF BINGO, RAFFLES AND CARNIVALS" AND
"AGAINST CONTINUATION OF BINGO, RAFFLES AND CAR-
NIVALS", WITH SUITABLE PROVISION MADE FOR THE
VOTER TO INDICATE HIS CHOICE FOR OR AGAINST SUCH
QUESTION. IF A MAJORITY OF THE VOTES CAST ON THIS
QUESTION SHALL BE CAST "FOR CONTINUATION OF
