received by the treasurer pursuant to any of the provisions of this
sub-title shall become part of the fund, and shall be held by the
treasurer in trust for the carrying out of the purpose of this sub-title
and for the payment of the cost of administering this Act. Said
fund may be invested and reinvested in the same manner as other
state funds and shall be disbursed according to the order of the
treasurer, as custodian of the fund.
145AA. Reimbursement of General State Fund. The treasurer
shall, on or before the thirtieth day of June in each year in which
this sub-title has been operative, determine what amount, if any,
shall be paid into the General State Fund in repayment, in whole or
in part, of the costs paid or incurred by the General State Fund for
administering this sub-title during the current fiscal year and such
amount shall be transferred from the fund to the General State Fund
of the treasury accordingly.
145BB. Penalties. Any person and any agent or servant of such
person, who knowingly files with the fund, board or treasurer, or any
or either of them, any notice, statement or other document required
under this sub-title, which is false or untrue or contains any material
misstatement of fact, or who operates an uninsured motor vehicle
without having paid the fee prescribed in Section 145B of this sub-
title, shall be subject to a fine of not less than one hundred dollars
($100.00), nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or imprison-
ment for not more than thirty days, at the discretion of the court.
145CC. Title of Act. This Act may be cited as the Unsatisfied
Claim and Judgment Fund Law.
145DD. Partial invalidity. In the event any section, term or pro-
vision of this sub-title shall be adjudged invalid for any reason, such
judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate any other section, term
or provision of said Act, but the remaining sections, terms and pro-
visions shall be and remain in full force and effect.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957, except that it shall become effective immediately so far
as to permit the treasurer and commissioner to receive and collect
the fees and assessments specified in section 145B, to permit the
taking of such measures and the making of such expenditures as shall
be necessary to administer the provisions of this Act prior to April
1, 1958, and to make such preparations as may be necessary to pro-
vide for the administration of said Act after said date, and from and
after April 1, 1958, this Act shall be fully and completely effective.
