tures have been made; said statement shall be under oath, and any
false statement shall be perjury and prosecuted as such.
(c) If said collector shall fail to perform any duties as directed
in this section on or before May 1st, succeeding January 1st, suc-
ceeding the year of the levy thereof, said collector shall be liable to
prosecution and on conviction, shall be fined not less than One Hun-
dred ($100.00) Dollars, or NOR more than Five Hundred ($500.00)
Dollars, at IN the discretion of the Court.
111. (a) The said tax collector, or a bonded employee of his office,
shall be required by the County Commissioners to sit in various parts
of the County for the collection of State and County taxes, as a con-
venience to the residents of the several sections of the County, for
reasonable periods during the period in which discounts of taxes are
allowed, and said collector, or bonded employees shall sit for at least
four (4) days during such period, at some convenient location in the
Towns of Frostburg, Midland, Lonaconing, Barton, Westernport, Mt.
Savage, and Flintstone, and at such other locations and for such hours
as the said County Commissioners may determine.
(b) It shall be the duty of the collector in his visits to the different
election districts of the County for the purposes of collecting and
receiving the State and County taxes, and at all other times, to inform
himself by all lawful means of all property, stock or investments in
said County liable to taxation, and not included in the last revised
list of assessments, and of all buildings and improvements, and of
all property created or acquired since said revised assessment, and
he shall report the same to the County Commissioners.
(c) All fees legally charged and collected by the Tax Collector shall
be remitted in their entirety to the Treasurer of Allegany County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

AN ACT authorizing the Maryland-National Capital Park and Plan-
ning Commission to utilize and expend for certain purposes
specified remaining funds received from the sale of certain bonds.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission
is hereby authorized to utilize and expend the remaining funds re-
ceived from the sale of bonds, known as Little Falls Branch Park
Development Bonds, Series CC, issued in the aggregate face amount
