erty liable to taxation within the limits of the said special tax zone
as above designated a special tax sufficient to defray the costs of
furnishing, providing and maintaining the special privileges, serv-
ices, benefits or improvements listed and provided for in the said
budget as approved. The tax shall be levied and collected as County
real estate taxes now are, and the funds so collected shall be expended
within the said special tax zone in accordance with the provisions
of the aforementioned budget upon presentation to the said County
Commissioners of proper vouchers presented by the aforesaid Civic
Board. The said special tax shall be in addition to the general taxes
otherwise provided for by law.

Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on the 1st day of June, 1957.

(House Bill 877)

AN ACT to add new Section 315B to Article 43 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1956 Supplement), title
"Health'', sub-title "Plumbing", and to add new Sections 694A,
694B and 694C to Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washington County", said new
sections to follow immediately after Section 694 thereof, and to
be under the new sub-title "Plumbing", providing that Washington
County shall not be governed by the State Plumbing Laws and
establishing the position of Washington County Plumbing Sani-
tarian and providing for his duties.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 315B be and it is hereby added to Article 43 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1956 Supple-
ment), title "Health", sub-title "Plumbing", and that new Sections
694A, 694B and 694C be and they are hereby added to Article 22 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County", said new sections to follow immediately after
Section 694 thereof, to be under the new sub-title "Plumbing" and
all to read as follows:

315B. The provisions of this sub-title shall not apply to Washing-
ton County, except as provided in the Local Code.

person who shall be known and designated as (iThe Washington
