CHAPTER 112
(Senate Bill 312)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 264 to 266 inclusive, of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Allegany County (1955 Edition), being Article
1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany
County", sub-title "Health Officer", said sections concerning the
Board of Health and the Health Officer of Allegany County and
now being obsolete by reason of the enactment of subsequent
state-wide legislation.
Whereas, Sections 264 to 266 inclusive of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Allegany County concern the Board of Health and the
Health Officer of that county; and
Whereas, These Sections were enacted in 1922 and now are obso-
lete by reason of subsequent state-wide legislation, particularly the
provisions of Sections 6 and 7 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland; now, therefore
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 264 to 266 inclusive, of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Allegany County (1955 Edition), being Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany County", sub-title
"Health Officer", be and they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 113
(Senate Bill 313)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 275 to 277 inclusive, of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Allegany County (1955 Edition), being Article
1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany
County", sub-title "Jurors", said section relating to the payments
made to jurors in Allegany County and now being obsolete.
Whereas, Sections 275 to 277 inclusive, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Allegany County (1955 Edition), concerning pay-
ments made to jurors in that county; and
Whereas, These provisions are now outmoded and obsolete, hav-
ing been superseded by Section 22 (c) of Article 51 in the State
Code (1951 Supplement); now, therefore
