by authorized in their discretion, to enter into a contract with "The
Washington County Public Health Association, Incorporated", where-
by they shall contract to contribute annually a sum of money not to
exceed Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500) for the maintenance of the
Dental Division under the control and direction of the said "The
Washington County Public Health Association, Incorporated".

166F. The County Commissioners of Washington County are here-
by authorized and directed in their discretion to enter into a contract
with "The Washington County Hospital Association", whereby they
shall contract to contribute annually a sum of money not to exceed
Seventy-five Hundred Dollars ($7,500) for the care and maintenance
of the Hospital under the control and direction of the said "The
Washington County Hospital Association".

166G. The County Commissioners of Washington County are here-
by authorized in their discretion to enter into a contract with "The
Washington County Home for Orphans and Friendless Children",
whereby they shall contract to contribute annually a sum of money
not to exceed Eight Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($8,500) for the
care and maintenance of the "Home" under the control and direction
of the said "The Washington County Home for Orphans and Friend-
less Children".

166H. The County Commissioners of Washington County are here-
by authorized in their discretion to contribute annually to the Com-
munity Chest an amount not exceeding Six Thousand Dollars
($6,000), to the Fire Companies of Hagerstown an amount not ex-
ceeding Six Hundred Dollars ($600) annually, and to other fire com-
panies in Washington County an amount not exceeding Twelve
hundred Dollars ($1,200) annually AND TO THE BRUNSWICK,
MARYLAND FIRE COMPANY AND TO THE HIGHFIELD,
MARYLAND FIRE COMPANY, EACH AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300) ANNUALLY.

166-I. For the purpose of carrying out the obligations which may
be incurred under the provision of Section 166B to 166H, inclusive,
the said County Commissioners of Washington County are hereby
authorized and directed in their discretion to levy and collect annually
on the assessable property of said county a sum of money sufficient
to meet the obligations so incurred by said County Commissioners
of Washington County.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.
