or to shoot at any wild bird or wild animal while it is within such
safety zone, without the specific advance permission of the owner or
tenant thereof.
During any open hunting or trapping season it is unlawful for any
person, other than the owner or occupant to wilfully hunt for, pursue,
disturb, or otherwise chase any wild animal or bird within the safety
zone designated in the preceding paragraph, without the specific
advance permission of the owner or occupant thereof.
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of the section
shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of twenty five NOT
MORE THAN FIFTY dollars and costs of prosecution.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 101
(Senate Bill 201)
AN ACT to add new Section 31A to Article 30 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Deaf, Dumb and Blind,"
to follow immediately after Section 31 thereof and to be under
the new sub-title "Miscellaneous," and to change the title of said
Article 30 of the Code to be "Deaf and , MUTE OR Blind", provid-
ing that any reference in the laws to deaf, dumb and blind shall
hereafter be to deaf and , MUTE OR blind only.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 31A be and it is hereby added to Article 30 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Deaf, Dumb
and Blind", said new section to follow immediately after Section 31
thereof and to be under the new sub-title "Miscellaneous," and that
a new title "Deaf and , MUTE OR Blind" be substituted for said title,
and all to read as follows:
Deaf and , MUTE OR Blind
31 A. Whenever in this Article or in any other laws of this State
reference shall be made to the term, "deaf, dumb and blind", the
same shall hereafter be taken to mean "deaf and , MUTE OR blind."
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.
