excise tax upon trailers in trailer camps and providing that trailer
fees shall not apply where the County Commissioners of Harford
County have assessed the trailers under the provisions of Article
81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1956
Supplement).

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 490B(c) of the Laws of Harford County (1942 Edition,
being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Harford County", sub-title "Taxes and County Treasurer",
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, as
said section was enacted by Chapter 190 of the Acts of 1955, and
said Section to read as follows:

(c) (Excise Tax.) The operator of every vehicular trailer camp,
as defined in this section, shall collect from the lessee or tenant of
each trailer coach space in that camp, for the privilege of leasing or
renting the trailer coach space, a monthly excise tax in the amount
of [One Dollar.] Two Dollars. The operator collecting said tax shall
hold it to the account of the Treasurer of Harford County and once
every three (3) months shall remit to the said Treasurer the total
amount of his collections for such purpose. The moneys paid to the
Treasurer of Harford County shall be credited to the General Funds
of the County [.] , provided that this tax shall not apply if the
County Commissioners of Harford County have assessed the trailers
under the provisions of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 745
(Senate Bill 284)

AN ACT to add new Sections 162 to 168 166 inclusive, to Article 16 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Chancery",
said new Sections to follow immediately after Section 161 thereof
and to be under the new sub-title "Conservators", providing for
the appointment of a conservator for the property of certain per-
sons who because of advanced age, mental weakness or physical
incapacity are unable properly to care for their property, and re-
lating generally to the property of such persons and to the powers
and duties of conservators of such persons.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Sections 162 to 168, 166, inclusive, be and they are hereby
added to Article 16 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edi-
tion) , title "Chancery", said new Sections to follow immediately after
