80. Any employer, after entering the State Accident Fund may
withdraw from said [fund after the period of one year upon giving
sixty (60) days' notice of his intention so to do and upon paying
all arrears, if any, of premiums due the said fund, and upon assuring
compensation to his employees by one of the other methods specified
in this Article] Fund upon giving notice to the State Accident Fund
in writing ten (10) days in advance of the date on which he intends
his insurance to be cancelled, and such employer shall promptly there-
after pay all arrears, if any, of premiums due the said Fund.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

(House Bill 966)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 5(c) of
Article 88B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1956 Supple-
ment), title "State Police", adjusting the salaries of the police
employees of the Department of Maryland State Police and pro-
viding for the payment of such adjustment during the first fiscal
year.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 5(c) of Article 88B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1956 Supplement), title "State Police", be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

5. Employees; ranks and grades; salaries; pensions.

(c) Salaries. Salaries to be paid to police employees of the De-
partment shall be as follows:
