AN ACT to authorize and empower the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Frederick County to borrow a sum not exceeding
$300,000 and to issue bonds for the purpose of providing funds to
pay the cost of capital improvements to Winchester Hall, the
Montevue County Home and, the Chronic Hospital, AND FOR
CONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPMENT FOR A HEALTH CEN-
TER in Frederick County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Board of County Commissioners of Frederick County is
hereby authorized and empowered to borrow a sum not to exceed
Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000) on the faith and credit
of such county and to issue bonds for the purpose of providing funds
to pay the cost of capital improvements to Winchester Hall, the
Montevue County Home and, the Chronic Hospital, AND FOR CON-
STRUCTION AND EQUIPMENT FOR A HEALTH CENTER in
Frederick County.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the bonds of each issue
shall be dated, shall bear interest at such rate or rates not exceeding
four per centum per annum, and shall mature at such time or times,
as may be determined by the Board of County Commissioners of the
county issuing the same and may be made redeemable before ma-
turity at the option of such Board of County Commissioners at such
price or prices and under such terms and conditions as may be fixed
by such Board of County Commissioners prior to the issuance of the
bonds. Such Board of County Commissioners shall determine the
form of the bonds, including any interest coupons to be attached
thereto, and shall fix the denomination or denominations of the bonds
and the place or places of payment of principal and interest, which
may be at any bank or trust company within or without the State.
