(House Bill 850)
AN ACT to add Sub-section (g) to Section 202 of Article 56 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and 1956 Supplement),
title "Licenses", sub-title "Dog Licenses in Counties", to follow
immediately after Sub-section (f) thereof, relating to a dog pound,
Dog Warden, and the collection and disposal of dogs in St. Mary's
County,
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (g) be and it is hereby added to Section 202 of
Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and
1956 Supplement), title "Licenses", sub-title "Dog Licenses in
Counties", to follow immediately after Sub-section (f) thereof, and
to read as follows:
202.
(g) The Board of County Commissioners of St. Mary's County is
hereby authorized to employ a Dog Warden at an annual salary not
to exceed $1,800 per annum. Such Warden shall collect and dispose
of all unlicensed dogs in a manner and on conditions to be prescribed
by the County Commissioners. Said Commissioners are authorized
to provide a dog pound for the County wherein dogs seized by said
Dog Warden may be placed. Said Commissioners are further author-
ized to pay any expenses arising from the operation of this sub-
section.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

(House Bill 851)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 19 and
20 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edi-
tion), title "Licenses", sub-title "Hawkers and Peddlers" to pro-
vide that said sections relating to licenses and fees for hawkers and
peddlers shall not apply to Baltimore County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 19 and 20 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1951 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Hawkers and Ped-
dlers", be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
