and known as the Central Farm and relating generally to the terms
and conditions of such transfer.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That there is hereby transferred from the Department of Mental
Hygiene to the University of Maryland the property located in
Howard County and known as the Central Farm, including all real
and personal property and all improvements, buildings, structures,
equipment and livestock, TO BE USED FOR AGRONOMY-DAIRY
FORAGE RESEARCH AND OTHER STATE USE.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That all appropriations, credits
and property of every kind and description at said Central Farm or
being held to its credit or for its use in any of the books and accounts
of this State are hereby transferred to and for the use of the Farm
under the University of Maryland.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1957.

(House Bill 849)
AN ACT to add new Section 203A to Article 48A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Insurance", sub-title
"Surety, Casualty, Liability and Compensation Insurance", said
new section to follow immediately after Section 203 thereof, per-
mitting the Insurance Commissioner to waive the requirement that
insurance companies maintain loss reserves for liability insurance
contained in certain combination or multiple peril policies.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 203A be and it is hereby added to Article 48A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Insurance",
sub-title "Surety, Casualty, Liability and Compensation Insurance",
said new section to follow immediately after Section 203 thereof,
and to read as follows:
203A. The Insurance Commissioner may, in his discretion, waive
the provision of Section 203 of this Article with respect to combiner
tion or multiple peril policies where the predominating exposure to
loss is on types of insurance other than liability, when UNLESS such
policies include Motor Vehicle Liability or Workmen's Compensation
Insurance.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.
