CHAPTER 700
(House Bill 822)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 123 (e)
of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Frederick County", sub-title "Roads", said section
having been last amended by Chapter 644 of the Acts of 1951,
establishing a $1,200.00 salary for the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Frederick County, in connection with their duties as
members of the Roads Board, to be paid from the funds of the
Roads Board.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 123 (e) of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County", sub-
title "Roads", said section having been last amended by Chapter 644
of the Acts of 1951, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
123. (e) Each appointed member of the Roads Board shall be
paid the sum of Five Dollars ($5.00) per meeting for actual attend-
ance at regular or duly called special meetings for purposes of cover-
ing expenses incidental to said attendance. The County Commis-
sioners shall each be paid from the funds of said Board the sum of
$1,200.00 annually as compensation for their services on said Board,
said sum to be in addition to the compensation allowed them as County
Commissioners as well as $600.00 annually toward traveling and other
expenses in connection with their duties as members of said Board.
Each member of the Roads Board, when acting in his official capacity
as a member of said Board, shall receive traveling expenses at the
rate of ten cents (10c) per mile, in addition to the sums herein-
before provided.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
January 1, 1958.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 40 (f) of
Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition and
1956 Supplement), title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in
Fact", relating to the salary of the State's Attorney of Charles
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 40 (f) of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
