motion pictures, THE OPERATION OF ANY MINIATURE GOLF
COURSE OR ANY SWIMMING POOL, the operation of any bowling
alley, ten pin alley or duckin alley, or any ice skating or roller
skating rink or the observation of or participation in any amatuer
athletic contest
after two (2:00) o'clock P. M. on Sunday in Talbot
County, whether the same be exhibited or operated with or without
a charge or admission fee. The work or employment of any operator,
ticket seller or other employee or attendant in connection with such
exhibition or operation shall not be unlawful because performed on
Sunday. Provided, however, that nothing in this section shall be
construed to permit the exhibition of motion pictures or the opera-
tion of any bowling alley, ten pin alley or duckpin alley,
MINIATURE
GOLF COURSE OR SWIMMING POOL, or any ice skating or roller
skating rink
on Sunday between the hours of 6:00 o'clock P. M. and
8:00 o'clock P. M., AND PROVIDED FURTHER, THAT THIS
SECTION SHALL NOT APPLY TO ANY PREMISES LICENSED
FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.

(b) Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions
of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof shall be subject to a fine of not more than One
Hundred ($100.00) Dollars, for each and every such violation.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 651
(House Bill 683)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 40 (g)
of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1956 Supple-
ment) , title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact", sub-title
"State's Attorney", and to add Section 40 (g-c) thereto to follow
immediately after Section 40 (g-b) thereof, providing for the
salary and expense allowance of the State's Attorney of Dorchester
County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 40 (g) of Article 10 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1956 Supplement), title "Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact",
sub-title "State's Attorney", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, and that Section 40 (g-c) be and it is
hereby added to follow immediately after Section 40 (g-b) thereof,
and all to read as follows:

40. Salaries and expenses of county State's Attorneys.

(g) [Dorchester and] Frederick [counties] county.—The Stage's
[attorneys of Dorchester and] attorney of Frederick [counties]
county shall [each] receive an annual salary of $3,600.
