No. 3, folio 22. As used in this sub-title the word "roads" shall be
construed to mean any road bed or right of way irrespective of how
the same may be titled or named and irrespective of the width of said
road bed or right of way; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT IN THE
EVENT THAT SAID ROADS DO NOT SATISFY THE STAND-
ARDS AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE STATE ROADS COM-
MISSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECEIVING A SHARE OF
THE GASOLINE TAX FUND, THEN THE EXPENSE OF TAK-
ING OVER, MAINTAINING, REPAIRING, CONSTRUCTING
AND COMPLETING SAID ROADS SHALL BE PAID BY A
SPECIAL TAX TO BE ESTABLISHED AND LEVIED ON THE
PROPERTY OWNERS OF HERALD HARBOR ON THE SEVERN.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1957.

CHAPTER 624
(House Bill 572)
AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1953 Edition) and the Montgomery
County Code (1955 Edition), being Articles 17 and 16 respectively,
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, titles "Prince
George's County" and "Montgomery County", sub-title 'Washing-
ton Suburban Sanitary District", said new section to be known as
Section 1637A of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's
County (1953 Edition) and Section 74-102.1 of the Montgomery
County Code (1955 Edition) and to follow immediately after Sec-
tions 1637 and 74-102 of said Codes respectively and to repeal and
re-enact, with amendments, Section 6 (h) of Article 25 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1956 Supplement), title "County Com-
missioners", sub-title "General Provisions", to empower the Wash-
ington Suburban Sanitary Commission to provide for disposition
of sewage within that portion of the drainage area contributory
to the Patuxent River lying within Howard County and to enter
into agreements with the proper authorities of Howard County
therefor, and to provide authority for the County Commissioners
of Howard County to enter into contracts or agreements with the
said Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission relating to dis-
position of said sewage.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
