MESSAGE TO THE SENATE

HOUSE OF DELEGATES
ANNAPOLIS, MD., March 13, 1958.
Gentlemen of the Senate:
The House of Delegates, pursuant to the Proclamation issued by the
Governor, has met in extra session and, having organized by the election
of the Honorable John C. Luber, Speaker and Mr. GEORGE W. OWINGS, JR.,
Chief Clerk, is now ready to proceed with the business of the session.
We propose, with your concurrence, the appointment of a joint
committee of five, three on the part of the House and two on the part of
the Senate, to wait upon the Governor and inform him that the General
Assembly is now prepared to receive any communications he may desire
to make.
We have appointed on the part of the House Messrs. Moore, Combs
and Larmore.
