CHAP. XIII.
An Act to repeal an Act, entitled, An act to prevent Swine from going at large
in the Town of Salisbury.
1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the passage of this act, it shall not be lawful to
seize and impound any swine which may be found going at large
within the limits of the town of Salisbury,
2. And be it enacted, That an act, entitled, An act to prevent
swine from going at large in the town of Salisbury, passed at De-
cember session in the year eighteen hundred and eighteen, chapter
127, and all such parts of other acts heretofore passed, which are
inconsistent with the provision of this act, be and the same are
hereby repealed.

CHAP. XIV.
An Act to repeal on act, passed at December Session eighteen hundred and eigh-
teen, entitled, An act to regulate the manner of granting Licences to Retailers
of Spirituous Liquors, and to prevent Persons from dealing with Free Negroes
after Sun Set, in Kent County.
Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the act
entitled, An act to regulate the manner of granting licences to re-
tailors of spirituous liquors, and to prevent persons from dealing
with free negroes after sun-set, in Kent county, be and the same is
hereby repealed.

CHAP. XV.
An Act for the benefit of Teackle Taylor, of Worcester County.
Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
judges of Worcester county court, in court sitting, or any one of
them out of court, be and are hereby empowered and authorised,
from time to time, to grant licence to Teackle Taylor to keep an
ordinary on the Island of Wolf's Den, situated in Sinepuxent Bay,
in said county, and lying contiguous to Chincoteague Island, for
which licence the said Teackle Taylor is hereby relieved from the
payment of the sum of money required by law; Provided always,
that the said Teackle Taylor shall first enter into the recognizance
prescribed by law to be entered into by ordinary keepers.

CHAP. XVI.
An Act for the appointment of a Trustee for Eliza Mathews, the Wife of Doctor
William P. Mathews, of Baltimore County, and her Children.
Whereas, it hath been represented to this general assembly,
that Deborah Sterett, late of Anne-Arundel county, deceased, the
mother of the said Eliza Mathews, did, by her last will and testa-
ment, devise and bequeath to certain trustees, a proportion of the
proceeds of her real and personal estate, the annual interest, whereof
was directed to be paid to the said Eliza, during her life, and the
principal on her decease to be equally divided among her children,
and their legal representatives; that one of the said trustees hath
renounced his trust, and refused to act, and the other trustee hath
assigned away his property; and the said Eliza Mathews is de-
sirous of having another trustee appointed in place of the last men-
tioned trustee: And whereas, also, it further appears, that the said
Eliza Mathews, being desirous of making provision for herself and
family, hath purchased an estate in Baltimore county situate on the
Frederick and Baltimore turnpike road, for which she hath paid,
