tees as aforesaid, shall be dissolved, and the property herein before
mentioned to be conveyed shall revert back to, and become the pro-
perty of the said Isaac M'Kim and William D. M'Kim, and their
heirs, in the same manner as if the same had not been conveyed to
the trustees as aforesaid.

CHAP. XXV.

An Act authorising Richard Moffett, late Sheriff of Queen-Anne's County, to
complete his Collections

1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That Ri-
chard Moffett be and he is hereby authorised, to collect, until the
first day of January eighteen hundred and twenty one, all balances
due him as sheriff of Queen-Anne's county, in the same manner as
he could or might have done within the time limited by law, any
law to the contrary notwithstanding.
2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of the said Richard
Moffett, before he proceeds to execute or distrain on the property
of any person or persons for officers fees or public dues, in virtue
of this act, to deliver to such person or persons chargeable with the
same, at least thirty days previous to levying such execution
or distress, an account, written in words at full length, of the
officers fees or public dues demanded of him, her or them, with an
affidavit annexed, if required, that he bath not received any part
thereof, nor any thing in security or satisfaction for the same,
more than credit given, to the best of his knowledge.
3. And be it enacted, That the said Richard Moffett, before he
derives any benefit from or under this act, shall lodge a copy of
his collection books in the clerk's office of Queen-Anne's county,
to be opened for the inspection of all persons interested in the same.

CHAP. XXVI.

An Act for the benefit of the Reformed and Evangelical Lutheran Church on
Silver Run, Frederick County, called St. Mary's Church.

Whereas it is represented to this general assembly, by the pe-
tition of certain members of the Reformed and Evangelical Luther-
an church on Silver Run, in Frederick County, that a certain Jo-
seph Dyer, by his deed bearing date the fourteenth day of March
Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and sixty-eight, convey-
ed to John Leaman, Nicholas Deel, George Michael Derr and
Charles Angel, chosen as a committee of the said congregations,
fifteen acres of land, called "Dyer's Mill Forrest," lying in the
said county of Frederick, and that the said deed was neither ac-
knowledged nor recorded until the March following; that the said
George Dyer, and the committee, are long since dead, and the
said petitioners have petitioned that the title of the said church to
the said land may be confirmed and vested in certain trustees, for
the use and benefit of the said church; therefore,
1. Be it enacted, by the. General Assembly of Maryland, That it
shall and may be lawful for the clerk of Frederick county to record
the said deed among the records of said county, at any time within
six months from the passage of this act, and that the said deed,
when so recorded, shall be good and valid, and have the same
operation and effect as if it had been recorded within the time limit-
ed by law, but the said deed shall not in any manner affect the
title of any purchaser of the same land, in case of a purchase made
