same to alter or renew at pleasure, and severally to do and per-
form all things relative to the management of said room.
4. And be it enacted, That the said room shall for ever hereafter
be appropriated, in the first instance, for the accommodation of the
Sunday school, except a permanent congregation of christians from
the neighbourhood, shall be collected to worship there, agreeably
to the form of the protestant episcopal church, and shall be disposed
to purchase the said room, in which case, the trustees for the time
being, are hereby empowered and authorised, to sell or dispose of
the said room to the said congregation, and are hereby obligated, to
build another room for the accommodation of the Sunday school as
above, which room shall be prepared for the reception of said,
school before the transfer of the present.
5. And be it enacted, That it shall be lawful for the said trustees
to make such rules and by-laws for their government as they shall
deem necessary and proper, provided the same be not contrary to
this law, and other laws of this state, and of the United States.

CHAP. XXII.

A Further Supplement to the act, entitled, An act authorising the Levy Court of
Calvert County to levy a sum of money on the assessable property of said Coun-
ty for the purposes therein mentioned.

Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
justices of the levy court of Calvert county, for the time being, be
and they are hereby authorised and directed, to levy on the assess-
able property of said county a sum not exceeding three thousand
dollars, to be applied as a fund for the payment of the sum which,
the said justices may allow for the improved plan adopted by the
court heretofore for the building of the said house.

CHAP. XXIII.

An Act for the relief of Elizabeth Masters, of Allegany County.
1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the said Elizabeth Masters, be and she is hereby divorced from
bed, board, and mutual cohabitation, with her husband Christian
Masters.
2. And be it enacted, That all the right and title which the said
Christian Masters, by virtue of his marriage with said Elizabeth
Masters, to any properly which she may become entitled to, in any
way or manner whatever, be and the same is hereby annulled and
made void, and that the said Elizabeth Masters be and she is hereby
declared capable to have, hold, take, receive, sue for and recover, by
compromise, suit or suits in law or equity, all such property, in as full
and ample a manner as if she were a feme sole, and had never
been married, and to hold, use, and enjoy the same, for her own.
