Acts continued.

CHAPTER 180.
An act to continue in force the Acts of Assembly which would
expire with the present Session.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
all such acts, and parts of such acts of assembly, as would expire
with the present session of assembly, be and the same are hereby
continued until the twentieth day of November next, and to the end
of the next session of assembly, which shall happen thereafter.

CHAPTER 181.
An act for the benefit of Susanna Leach, of Saint Mary's
county.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the justices of the levy court of Saint Mary's county, shall and they
are hereby directed and empowered, at their levy court annually,
to levy on the assessable properly of said county, so long as they
shall see cause, for the support and maintenance of Susanna Leach,
of said county, a sum of money not exceeding thirty dollars, and
the same when collected shall be paid by the collector of said coun-
ty to Susanna Leach, or to her order, for the purposes aforesaid.

CHAPTER 182.
An act to increase the pay of the Judges of the Orphans
Court for Anne-Arundel county.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the passage of this act, each judge of the orphans
court of Anne-Arundel county, be and he is hereby entitled to re-
ceive, in lieu of his present per diem, the sum of three dollars for
every days attendance.

CHAPTER 183.
An act for the benefit of Jemima Allen, of Prince George's
county.
Sec, 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the levy court of Prince George's county shall be and is hereby au-
thorised, to assess and levy a sum of money not exceeding thirty
dollars, so long as they may deem it necessary, for the support of
Jemima Allen, and the same shall be collected and paid over for
the use of the said Jemima Allen, to the order of Francis Tolson,

CHAPTER 184.
A Supplement to an act, entitled, An act for the better pro-
tection of Slaveholders in the several Counties therein
mentioned.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
from and after the first day of May next, it shall not be lawful for
any licensed retailer or retailers in Prince George's Somerset, Dor-
chester, Charles, and Talbot counties, or for any person or persons
residing in either of said counties, accustomed to make and sell
distilled spirits, or other liquors, to sell such distilled spirits, or
other liquors, to any free negro or mulatto, or to any negro or
mulatto servant or slave, between sun-set in the evening and sun-
rise of the succeeding morning, or on the sabbath day; or to suffer
