CHAPTER 29.

An act to enable Robert Gorsuch to complete his Collections
in Baltimore County.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
Robert Gorsuch of the city of Baltimore, be and he is hereby em-
powered to proceed, (as heretofore authorised) in the collection of
the taxes in Baltimore county, until the last day of January eigh-
teen hundred and nineteen.

CHAPTER 30.

A further additional Supplement to the act, entitled, An act
to Regulate Elections.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
William Hebb, Notley Maddox, Francis Tolson, senior, Edward
H. Calvert, Dennis Boyd, Jasper M. Jackson, junior, and Alex-
ius Sansberry, be and they are hereby appointed and authorised,
or a majority of them, or a majority of the survivors of them,
commissioners to lay off Prince George's county into six separate
election districts, in conformity to the act, entitled. An act to alter,
change and repeal, all such parts of the constitution and form of
government of this state as relate to the division of Prince Geor-
ge's county into election districts, and of the act, entitled, An act
to confirm an act, entitled. An act to alter, change and repeal, all
such parts of the constitution and form of government of this
state, as relate to the division of Prince George's county into elec-
tion districts, carefully making the several districts as nearly
equal as possible, having regard to population, extent, and conve-
nience of the voters; and each election district shall be numbered
by the said commissioners, and known thereafter by such number;
and the said commissioners shall also make choice of a place in
each district, at which the elections for such district shall be held,
as nearly central as practicable, having regard to the circumstan-
ces aforesaid, and the accommodation of persons attendant upon
such elections; and the said commissioners, or a majority of them,
or a majority of the survivors of them, shall, on or before the fif-
teenth day of July next, make out and deliver to the clerk of the
county court of said county, a description, in writing, under their
hands and seals, specifying plainly the boundaries and number of
each district, and also the place in each district where the elections
for such district shall be held, and the said clerk shall record the
same in the records of said county.
2. And be it enacted, That the commissioners appointed by this
act, or a majority of them, or a majority of the survivors of them,
shall meet at Upper Marlborough in said county, on the first Tues-
day in the month of April next, for the purpose of performing the
duties imposed by this act, and the commissioners or commission-
er, so meeting, may adjourn from time to time, and from place to
place, until the whole is complete.
