Proviso.

5 the laws of the United States, may be called in question, to his
great detriment and injury, but who has since become naturalized ;
Therefore.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the title of the real property lawfully and fairly acquired by the
aforesaid Thomas Moore, whether such title be. derived by gift,
grant, purchase, or devise, be and the same is hereby as amply
and as fully vested in the said Thomas Moore, to all intents and
purposes, as if he had been naturalized agreeably to said laws ;
Provided always, that nothing in this act contained shall in any
manner defeat or affect any right, title or claim, to the said pro-
perty, or any part thereof, acquired or prosecuted by any person
or persons whatever before the passage of this act.

CHAPTER 14.
, An act for the benefit of Alexander Moore, of Cecil Coun-
ty.
Whereas Alexander Moore, of Cecil county, emigrated to,
and settled in this state, and since his emigration and settlement,
as aforesaid, has acquired real property therein, and his title to
such property, from his not having been naturalized agreeably
to the laws of the United States, may be called in question, to
his great detriment and injury, but who has since become natu-
ralized; Therefore,
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the title of the real property, lawfully and fairly acquired by the
aforesaid Alexander Moore, whether such title be derived by
gift, grant, purchase or devise, be and the same is hereby as
amply and as fully vested in the said Alexander Moore, to all
intents and purposes, as if he had been naturalized agreeably to
said laws; Provided always, that nothing in this act contained
shall in any manner defeat or affect any right, title or claim, to
the. said property, or any part thereof, acquired or prosecuted by
any person or persons whatever before the passage of this act.

CHAPTER 15.
An act for the benefit of John Shick, of Washington.
County.
Whereas John Shick, of Washington county, emigrated to
the state of Maryland, and since his emigration and settlement
has acquired real property therein, and his title to such property,
from his not being naturalized agreeable to the laws of the
United States, may be called in question to hid great detriment
and injury; Therefore,
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the title to the real property of him the said John Shick,
heretofore intended to be vested in him, the said John Shick, his
heirs and assigns, by purchase or deed fairly obtained, be and the
same is hereby amply and fully vested in the said John Shirk,
and his heirs, in fee simple, to all intents and purposes, in the
same, manner that it would have been if the said John Shick had
been fully naturalized agreeable to the said laws, at the time of
the said purchase, and when he received his said deed; Provided
always, that nothing in this act contained shall in any manner
