CHAPTER 10.
An act for the relief of Mary Wyatt, of Caroline County.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the levy court of Caroline county be, and they are hereby
directed and empowered, at their levy court annually, to assess
and levy on the assessable property of said county, a sum of mo-
ney, not exceeding thirty dollars, for the support and mainte-
nance of the said Mary Wyatt, and that the same be collected
annually, by the collector or collectors of Caroline county, and
paid to the said Mary Wyatt, or her order.

CHAPTER 11.
An act to change the place of holding the Elections in the
Third Election District in Caroline County.
Whereas inconveniencies have arisen from the place of hold-
ing the elections in the third election district in Caroline county ;
Therefore,
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the judges of the third election district in Caroline county,
be and they are hereby authorised and directed, to hold, in future,
the elections in said district, at the place known by the name of
Upper Hunting Creek, where the elections were formerly held in
said district.
2. And be it enacted, That all acts heretofore passed to alter
and change the place of holding the elections in the third election
district in Caroline county, and for other purposes, he and the
same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 12.
An act to provide for repairing the Gaol in Baltimore Coun-
ty.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the justices of the levy court of Baltimore county be, and they
are hereby authorised and empowered, to levy and assess upon
the assessable property in Baltimore county, a sum not exceed-
ing five thousand dollars, for the purpose of repairing the gaol
in said county, to he collected as other county levies, and paid
over as said justices shall direct, and expended, under their di-
rection, in repairing the said gaol, and in altering or erecting
new privies appurtenant thereto; and to expedite said work, the
justices aforesaid are hereby authorised to borrow the above sum.
if necessary, for the payment of which they may pledge the levy
hereby authorised to be made.
