CHAPTER 226.

An act for the relief of James Lee Morgan, of Harford
County.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the judges of Harford county court be, and they are here-
by authorised and directed, to extend to James Lee Morgan,
of said county, the full benefit of the act of assembly, passed
at November session, eighteen hundred five, and the several
supplements thereto, without requiring the said James Lee Mor-
gan to produce the assent in writing of so many of his creditors
as have due to them two thirds in amount of the drills owing by
him at the time of his application for the benefit of the said act
and supplements.

CHAPTER 227.

An act to provide permanent salaries for the Judges of Bal-
timore City Court.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the chief judge of Baltimore City Court shall receive for
his salary the sum of twenty-four hundred dollars per annum,
and each of the associate judges of the said court shall receive
for their respective salaries the sum of fifteen hundred dollars
per annum.
2. And be it enacted, That the said salaries shall be paid in the
following manner, to wit: The salary of the chief judge shall
be paid quarterly to him, or his order, out of any unappropriat-
ed money which may be in the treasury; and the salary of both
the associates shall be levied and assessed on all the assessable
property within the limits of the jurisdiction of the said court,
and in the manner prescribed by the bill, entitled, An act to pro-
vide for the administration of justice in cases of crimes and mis-
demeanors within the city and precincts of Baltimore.

CHAPTER 228.

A Supplement to an act, entitled, An act to make Public
an Old Road leading from South River Church, to in-
tersect the Annapolis Road to West River.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
in lieu of the commissioners appointed to carry into effect the
provisions of the act to which this is a supplement, James Igle-
hart, sen. Richard Mackubin and Robert W. Kent, be and
they are hereby appointed commissioners to carry into effect
the provisions of the before recited act, provided satisfactory
proof is not afforded them that the road in question is an old
road, legally opened, and heretofore made public, any thing
in said law to the contrary notwithstanding.

Whereas, Edmond Evens, of Anne-Arundel county, by his
