conveyed the same to the use of the said academy, therefore, Be
it enacted, That all land so purchased from Henry Tilghman,
Esq. for the use aforesaid, shall be and for ever remain to the
use of the said academy, and the trustees of the said academy,
and their successors, shall he vested with all the right, title, in-
terest and estate, in the said land, subject to the use aforesaid.

CHAPTER 207.

An act for the relief of Richard Dudley, of Talbot county.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the judges of Talbot county court, or any one of them in the re- ;
cess of the said court, be and they are hereby authorised and em-
powered to extend to Richard Dudley, of Talbot county, the
benefit and relief of the act of assembly, passed at November ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and five, entitled, An act for the relief of
sundry insolvent debtors, and the supplementary acts thereto,
without compelling the said Richard Dudley to produce in writing
the assent of his creditors, as is required by said acts; Provided,
that the said Richard Dudley shall comply with all the other ne-
cessary requisites of said acts.

CHAPTER 208.

An act to lay out and make public the Roads therein men-
tioned, in Harford County, and for other purposes.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Isaac Peryman, John M'Graw and James M'Comas, of
James, of Harford county, be and they are hereby appointed com-
missioners for the purposes of this act, and that they, or a ma-
jority of them, are hereby authorised and required to lay out and
survey a road, not exceeding thirty feet, wide, beginning at the
south end of Webster's long lane, thence running through the
lands of William Wilson, and the reverend John Allen, by Wil-
liam Patterson's, on or as nearly on the scite, ground, courses,
rout and marks of the old road, as can be ascertained by witnes-
ses, to the Baltimore and Philadelphia road at Duncan's shop.
2. And be it enacted, That the aforesaid commissioners, or a
majority of them, are hereby authorised and empowered in their
discretion, to lay out, mark and bound, a lot of ground at or near
to George Presbury's landing, not less than forty perches long
and four perches wide, along the edge of the water, at low water
mark, and condemn the same to be a public landing for the use of
the citizens of Harford county.
3. And be it enacted, That the aforesaid commissioners, or a
majority of them, are hereby authorised and empowered to lay out
and open a road, to begin at a point on the road (authorised to be
laid out by the first section of this law,) near the upper end of
William Patterson's field, next to Doctor Thomas Archer's, thence
through Doctor Archer's land, nearly with a pond made by James
Kelly until it intersects the post road, thence through James Kel-
ly's land, in the nearest and best direction, to the landing autho-
rised by the second section of this law; Provided, that the said road
shall not be made to pass through the buildings, yards, gardens or
orchards, of any person, without the consent of the owner or
owners thereof.
