No. 1.

Resolved, That the application of John Norris, of Harford county be, and the
same is hereby referred to the consideration of the auditor, who it authorised and
required to examine the same and report to this or the next General Assembly
what sum of money if any is due to the said Norris on account of costs and ex-
pences incurred by him in prosecuting unit in equity against the state, for and or
account of a tract, or part of a tract of land sold by the state to the said John Nor-
ris and Jacob Norris, called Burr, and also the terms and coalitions of the original
contract between the state and the said John Norris and Jacob Norris.

No. 2.

Resolved, That the register of the land office for the Western Shore be, and he is
hereby directed and required to receive into his office the patent heretofore issue
to Samuel Price, of Baltimore county, for a tract of land called "Price Enlarge-
ment," bearing date the eighth day of June, seventeen hundred and ninety-seven
and containing two hundred, thirty-one and an half acres more or less, and to in-
sert in the said patent for the thud line of said tract of land "still north" seventy six
degrees, west thirty eight perches" in lieu of "still south seventy six degrees, west
thirty-eight perches," and that he will alter and correct the record hook in which
the said patent hath been recorded, so as to correspond with said patent when so
amended, and the error therein corrected as aforesaid, and also to correct the certi-
ficate of the surveyor who made the survey of the land aforesaid, and also correct
the record of said certificate so that it may correspond with the patent aforesaid and
amended, and be it also resolved, that the said Samuel Price and his heirs shall have
the unit right and title to the said land and premises mentioned in the said patent
at if the third line of the said land originally inserted in the said patent had been
"still north seventy six degrees, west thirty-eight perches" as directed by the fore
going resolution.

No. 3.

Resolved, That the governor of this state cause a correct copy of the act passed
At the present session of assembly entitled, an act repealing the fourth section of an
act entitled, an act to incorporate a company to make an artificial road therein
mentioned, to be forwarded to the governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
nia, with a request that the same be communicated to the legislature of the said
Commonwealth.

No. 4.

Resolved, That the register of the land office for the Western Shore be, and he

is hereby authorised to correct a mistake in the beginning of lot number thirty
three hundred and fifty eight, westward of Fort Cumberland in Alleghany county
so as to begin at a bounded white oak standing West one hundred and sixty four
perches from a white oak post on the Pennsylvania line marked CLXV: Provided
the said alteration shall not affect the title of any other person.
No. 5.
Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore he, and he is hereby directed
to pay to Clement Mahoney, an old revolutionary soldier or to his order, annually
in quarterly payments during his life, a sum of money equal to the half pay of a
private.

No. 6.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is hereby directed
to pay out of any unappropriated money in the treasury to John Roby, or to his
order, annually in quarterly payments during his life, a sum of money equal to the
half pay of a private for the services rendered his country during the revolutionary
war.

No. 7.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore be, and he is hereby directed
to pay to John Boone, an officer in the revolutionary war, annually in quarterly pay
ments during his life, a sum of money equal to the half pay of a lieutenant, in lie
of the sum already allowed him, as a further compensation for those services ren-
dered his country during her struggle for independence.

No. 8.
Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore be and lie is hereby autho-
rised and directed to pay unto John Sprigg Belt, late a captain in the Maryland
line during the revolutionary war, or to his order, a sum of money annually in
quarterly payments, equal to the half pay of a captain daring his life, as a further
remuneration for his services during that war, and in lieu of the sum of one hun-
