terms as the said court may think proper, and to appoint a trus-
tee for the purpose of effecting such sale.
2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That any sale made by the
authority of the orphans court of Dorchester county, under this
act, shall be notified to, and confirmed by the orphans court of
said county, before the conveyance of the property shall be made;
and the trustee before he enters upon the trust to him commit-
ted, shall enter into a bond, with good security to the state of
Maryland, to be approved of by the said orphans court, for the
due execution of his trust, which bond shall be lodged with the
register of wills for the county aforesaid; and the said bond
shall be recorded, and be subject to be put in suit by any person
or persons interested, in the same manner as administration
bonds now are.
3. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the trustee appointed by
virtue of this act, shall in the first place, pay out of the money
arising from said sale, to the state of Maryland, the balance now
due the said state for the said tract of land, and the balance (if
any,) to pay over to the devisees of the said William Barrow,
in such manner, and in such proportions as the said orphans
court shall direct.
4. AND BE IT ENACTED, That any conveyance or deed
made by the trustee, pursuant to the directions of the orphans
court aforesaid, shall and is hereby declared to be valid and ef-
fectual to convey all the right, title and interest, which the said
William Barrow, at the time of his death, had in and to the
property aforesaid, to the purchaser or purchasers of the same.
5. AND BE IT ENACTED, That in case either of the de-
visees should die before they arrive at age, the sum of money
arising from the sale of the said property, shall pass and descend
in the same manner, and to the same persons, that the properly
itself would have descended, had it not have been sold by vir-
tue of this net; the interest accruing upon the purchase money
to be applied to the maintenance and benefit of the said devi-
sees.

CHAPTER 197.
An act to confirm and make valid the proceedings of the or-
phans court of Frederick county.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the proceedings and decisions of the orphans
court of Frederick county, which have taken place since the
first Monday in December last, shall be and the same are hereby
made as valid to all intents and purposes as if there had been
a register of wills in commission for said county, and that all
rules, judgments, entries, process and proceedings now depend-
ing in said court, shall be, and the same are hereby revived,
and shall be in the same state and condition to all intents and
purposes, as the same would have been in, if the said sessions
of the orphans court had been regularly held at the time appoint-
ed by law.

An act authorising the levy court of Calvert county to borrow
a certain sum of money from the banks of this state.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
