CHAPTER 179.
An act to make a public road from the Aetna Powder Works
in Baltimore County.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Cornelius Howard, Charles Carroll, (of
Daniel,) Christoper Carnan, Dr. Thomas Johnson and Joseph
Front, or a majority of them on, and they are hereby appoint-
ed commissioners to lay out, survey, mark and bound a public
road, not exceeding thirty feet wide, commencing for the same
at or near the easternmost corner of the land upon which the
Aetna Powder Company's Works now stand, and thence run-
ning on a straight line until it intersects the liberty road.
2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That, the commissioners
above named shall give the parties interested at least ten days
notice of the time when they will meet to examine the ground
over which the contemplated road will pass, to mark it out, and
value the respective damages that may be occasioned thereby,
and shall have power to adjourn from time to time for said pur-
pose.
3. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said commissioners
or a majority of them are hereby directed to return a plat of
said road, when surveyed, marked and laid out as aforesaid, to
the clerk of Baltimore county court, to be by him recorded,
which road when so ascertained, and the damages awarded by
the commissioners paid to whom they may be due, shall be
opened, deemed and taken as a public road forever thereafter.
4. AND BIS IT ENACTED, That the commissioners
shall be entitled to receive two dollars for each and every day
they are engaged in surveying, marking and locating said
road.

CHAPTER. 180.
An act for the relief of Nicholas Snider of Frederick County.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the title to the real property of the said Nich-
olas Snider fully and fairly acquired, be and the same is hereby
as amply and fully vested in the said Nicholas Snider and his
heirs, to all intents and purposes, as it would have been if he
had been duly naturalised at the time when be acquired the said
real property; Provided always, that nothing in this act con-
tained shall in any manner defeat or affect any right, title,
or claim to the said property, or any part thereof, acquired or
prosecuted by any person or persons whatever before the pas-
sage of this act; And provided also, that the said Nicholas
Snider shall within six months after the passage of this act be-
come naturalized agreeably to the laws of the United States,
but if the said Nicholas Snider should die before he becomes
naturalized, nothing in this proviso shall prevent him from
transmitting or transferring his said property, by descent or
devise, to any person or persons capable in law to hold the
same.
