in the name of the State of Maryland, with good and sufficient
security, to be approved by the said court, shall be given by
the person or persons empowered to sell the lots aforesaid, un-

der the order aforesaid, for the due execution of the trust;
which bond shall be deposited with the clerk of Montgomery
county court, to be by him recorded among the proceedings of
the said court, and shall be subject to be put in suit by any
person or persons interested therein.
3. AND BE IT ENACTED, That the trustee to be ap-

pointed by the order of the court aforesaid, shall invest the
proceeds after deducting the widow's interest, in the name of
the infants, in such funds as the said court shall direct; Provid-
ed, that the said widow shall be entitled to only such part of
the money arising from the sale Of said estate as the said court
shall judge reasonable and proper, and said court shall order
and direct that such portion be paid by the trustee to said wi-
dow or her order.
4. AND BE IT ENACTED, That any conveyance or
deed which shall be made by the trustee aforesaid, under the
order of the said court, shall he and the same is hereby declared
to be valid and effectual, to pass and convey all the right, title
and interest of the said children in and to the lots of land
aforesaid, to the purchaser or purchasers thereof and their heirs

respectively.
6. AND BEIT ENACTED, That the said court be, and
they are hereby authorised and empowered, on application of
the said trustee, to direct and order the terms and conditions
of the sale of the said lots of land, as they shall judge most
for the advantage of the said children.
6. AND BE IT ENACTED, That in case of the death
of the said children before their arrival at lawful age, or their
dying intestate without issue, the said stock so to be purchased
as aforesaid, and the proceeds arising from the sale of the said
lots of land, directed to be paid to the said children by this act,
shall be considered as a part of the real estate of the said Jere-
miah Crabb, deceased, and shall descend to his heirs at law, and
legal representatives in the same manner as the said real estate
would descend if the same had not been sold under and in virtue
of this act.

CHAPTER 162.

An act to incorporate a company to make a turnpike road from
the mouth of Monocacy or some place near thereto through
Montgomery county, to intersect the Baltimore and Freder-
ick-Town turnpike road, at the Poplar Springs in Anne-
Arundel County.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a company shall be incorporated to make a
turnpike road from the mouth of Monocacy; or some place
near thereto through Montgomery county, to intersect the Bal-
timore and Frederick Town turnpike road, at the Poplar
Springs, in Anne Arundel county.
2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That subscription books
shall be opened on or before the first Monday of March next,
at Barnsville, Poplar Springs, and the city of Baltimore, tor a
capital stock for said company of one hundred an: twenty five
thousand dollars, in five thousand shares, of twenty five dol-
