CHAPTER 159.

A supplement to the act entitled, an act to establish a bank
and incorporate a company under the name of the Havre-
de-Grace Bank.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the stockholders of the Havre-de-Grace Bank
shall elect annually nine directors from among the stockhold-
ers, residents of Harford county, to conduct the business of
the institution, who shall eligible to be re-elected, and that
the president shall be elected by the directors from their own
body.

2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That all such parts of the
act to which this is a supplement that are inconsistent with or
repugnant to this act, be and the same is hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 160.
An act authorising a lottery for raising a sum of money to
build a church in St. Mark's Parish in Frederick Coun-
ty.
Sec. 1 BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the vestry of St. Mark's Parish in Frederick
county, or a majority of them be, and they are hereby autho-
rised to propose a a scheme of a lottery, and to sell and dispose
of tickets therein for raising a sum of money not exceeding
six thousand dollars, to be appropriated by them to the building
a church or house of worship in said parish.

2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That before the said vestry
proceed to make sale of any ticket or tickets in the said lottery,
they shall give and execute a bond to the State of Maryland,
in the penalty of twelve thousand dollars, conditioned that they
will well and truly conduct the drawing of said lottery, and
apply the monies arising therefrom within six months after the
drawing thereof to the payment of the prizes drawn therein, to
the adventurers to whom they shall be due, and the necessary
expences inclined in the management thereof, and the residue
to the building a church in the said parish.
3 AND BE IT ENACTED, That the said bond shall be
lodged in the office of the clerk of Frederick county, to be
there recorded, and upon such bond or any office copy thereof,
suit or suits may be instituted for any breach or non compli-
ance with the condition thereof.

CHAPTER 161.

An act for the benefit of the infant children of Jeremiah Crabb
late of Montgomery County.
Sec. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the county court of Montgomery county shall
have full power and authority, on the petition of Elizabeth
Crabb, to order a sale of the real property of Matilda Crabb,
Emmeline Crabb and Lydia Crabb, infant heirs of Jeremiah
Crabb, upon such terms as the said court shall think proper,
and to appoint a trustee or trustees for the purpose of effecting
said sale.
2. AND BE IT ENACTED, That any sale which shall
be made under the authority grained by the provisions of this
act, shall be notified to and confirmed by the court aforesaid,
before the conveyance of the property shall be made, and bond
